Situated just outside Phoenix with scenic views of the Mountains Preserve, the home of NBA star Devin Booker feels more like a resort than a bachelor pad. Though the home’s curb appeal is a bit underwhelming, what’s hidden out back absolutely stuns. Sliding glass walls give way to the Bali-inspired pool, adjacent gardens, and outdoor living spaces. It’s the perfect retreat after a hard day on the court.
Like many of us, Devin had childhood dreams of his future home. Now, at just 25, he’s made his dream home a reality. The modern aesthetic is hard to miss. Sleek lines and neutral colors serve as backdrop to low-profile seating, midcentury design classics, and contemporary artwork. Aside from its visual appeal, the home keeps function front and center. Much of the furniture—like 12-foot-long sofas—was specially designed to accommodate the height of NBA players.
I know this house is something special. During those long stretches on the road, I can’t stop thinking of getting back here. It’s like something that’s been a part of me my whole life but I’m just realizing it now.
